FIRENZE D'ORO

flying

A couple of years ago we visited Italy for the first time. We decided to start in Firenze for a couple of nights and, after renting a car, travel around Tuscany.
Today I bring you the beginning of this journey and some snaps of Firenze. This is the volume one to be continued because no brain (and heart) can take so much.
I remember the feeling of arriving in Firenze. I wasn't neither too hot nor too cold, it was just the perfect temperature. After drinking the shortest expresso ever at the airport we took a bus and left off somewhere in the city center close to where our hotel room was. We did speak a bit of Italian on the way and even invented our own words.
We did not sleep at all for the first night because of all the bikes and cars passing 24/7 on the street, but that didn't make us love Firenze any less.
It was the first time I heard myself telling David how it would be a city I'd see myself living in. True! It was the first city, after my own, that I fell in love with. It has this special gold light that I will never be able to explain, people are nice, the food is amazing and even though it is a city it just has the best calmness feeling.
Less talk and more pics. I hope you enjoy this little sample.
