WITH LOVE FROM GERMANY

wild flowers

A couple of years ago me and David went to Winterberg in Germany and we had so much fun. I believe this was one of our first trips, besides to Portugal, that we did after moving to The Netherlands. In fact this was the first time that we traveled to Germany.
It is funny how randomly we got there. David's colleague had made some reservations at a hotel in Winterberg. Because it was a cheap last minute deal he wasn't able to move the dates and, because he couldn't make it, we bought the reservation for an even cheaper price and there we go.
Winterberg is well known for the mountains covered with snow and, during winter, it's snow resort full of people skying. Well, luckily we were there during spring. It was very chill but there was no snow, no people and lots of green fields full of flowers, cows, horses and sheep as well. And who doesn't like that right?
Because Winterberg is not so big we ended up seeing most of it in one day and decided to drive around to find another place to visit. That's how we ended up in Korbach, one of the most picturesque places in Germany I have ever been to. Love it! It is totally worth a visit.
Today I leave you with a couple of pictures from our trip there. I was playing around with my fish eye lens, reason why the pictures look like this. Not so much for quality but it's quite a lot of fun to use it.
Hope you enjoy it!
