NATURE VS GEOMETRY

Tillandsia Balbisiana

This Christmas we received our first air plant together with our very first himmelis and I am completely in love with both.
We had seen some at a store's window once but, as always, I have to overthink things a billion times before I get them, so this gift was what was needed for me to start a collection. Yay!
For those of you who are wondering what the heck is an air plant, I'll explain. There are different kinds and a vast variety of air plants but in the end, the concept is the same. Basically, they don't need to be planted in a vase and only need to be watered once in a while. In fact, these are quite possibly the strongest plants, together with cacti, and they are a treat to the eyes. As they don't require high maintenance it becomes the perfect plant for decor.
Depending on the plant you can put them floating in a bowl of water for just a couple of minutes, or spray them twice per week, then just let them air until the next watering. Click here if you'd like to see more tips on how to take care of air plants.
Everyone knows how much I love plants and these are no exception, so for this Monday I bring you the beginning of a new collection. I hope you like it as much as I do!
